From traditional markets to modern shopping malls and a host of eclectic designer boutiques and homewares stores, Bali is famous for shopping. We’ve created the Ultimate Bali shopping guide, because we know it can be confusing if you’re not sure where to start. This is our short list of fab shops, so that you can spend more time relaxing and less time searching for the perfect outfit, the most fabulous homewares or just something that will remind you of your Bali holiday.

Kuta/Legian – Known for its thriving local markets at bargain prices and expensive shopping centres, the Kuta/Legian area is now an up and coming hotspot for many stylish boutiques.

Beachwalk Mall

Who doesn’t love a day at the mall? With a great selection of branded stores including Zara and H&M, Victoria Secret’s biggest Asian store, an amazing beauty bar as well as great dining, games for the kids, a host of local designers and a cinema, Kuta’s Beachwalk mall is the ultimate one-stop shop for absolutely everything. Overlooking Kuta beach, Beachwalk throws some great sales, offer excellent loyalty programs, but mostly it’s a 3-story open-air shopping mall where you can spend the day browsing, eating, drinking and even catching a movie.

Sage Store Bali

Take a walk on the wild side with Sage Store Bali; the perfect island inspired lifestyle boutique for all of your homeware, apparel and accessory desires. A hidden gem in the heart of Legian, Sage stocks an abundance of gift sized goodies, stylish home decor and array of island essentials.

Seminyak – Seminyak is one of the most popular shopping destinations in Bali with some unique and beautiful shops.

216 Boutique

Sophisticated and stylish homewares shop, Carga, boasts a unique collection of affordable Balinese-chic goodies, from batik and teak furnitures to candles, linen, stationery and more. It’s a great spot to find gifts for the whole family, with its divine Coco & Ginger range for little girls, as well as toys and kid furniture.

Monsieur Blonde – also located in Ubud and Canggu

Bali Boat Shed

Island stylin’ at its finest. If you are one of those people who pick up your plates in a restaurant to see who made them, then Kevala is for you. Some of Bali’s most stylish restaurants and cafes have their ranges created by Kevala Ceramics and you can own a piece or a whole set. Home-made, textural ceramics are a find at Kevala.

Souq

Embodying the luxe life, Souq is a café and concept store targeting the fashionable, the collectors and lovers of fine things. Berawa/Canggu – The new hotspot in Bali, with new boutiques and stylish shops popping up on the scene every day. If you’re looking for laid back, yet trendy island styles, Canggu might be the place for you.

Tamora Gallery

Created as an inclusive space with an eye for fun and games where destination dwellers can frock up a new baby, have a spa, land their bolts, eat, hit Google Hangouts, slip into a night club and then grab a vitamin infusion for the aftermath. For the Kids

Toy shops are thin on the ground in Bali, although Galeria has a good one. Instead, shout the kids a day at Waterbom, it’s great for the whole family and you can pick up some merchandise while you’re there, or try your luck at Shooters, the new putt putt course in Seminyak. Clothes for kids are best picked up at the chain stores Zara or H&M located in Beachwalk Shopping Centre or Mall Galeria. Electronics galore will make the kids happy, check out Apple and Samsung in Beachwalk where you can also find surf brands and the chain stores.
