DESCRIPTION:Boiler Room returns to Bali this summer\, taking over the entirety of Potato Head on the 22nd\nand 23rd July. With 30 DJ’s and live acts that include some of local favourites\, together with a\nselection of international artists from over 10 countries\, the event will take place across four\nstages and will feature a kaleidoscope of musical genres ranging from disco to hip-hop.\nRepresenting Indonesia across the weekend is the Leaving Records affiliated Asa Tone trio –\nwhich includes Jakarta’s Melati Malay and NYC’s Tristan Arp and Kaazi accompanied by\ncomposer Ariel Kalma -\, Jakarta-based hip hop artist BAP.\, previous Norrm Radio and Noods\nRadio resident Bagvs\, club night and record label Dekadenz and Indonesian disco aficionados\nDiskoria. There will be a showcase from Indonesian music archive initiative Irama Nusantara\nalongside sets from Cocktail d’Amore’s Jonathan Kusuma and Orbitware’s Mairakilla.\nGuests can also expect to find themselves lost in a polyrhythmic club set from Portugal’s DJ N\nFox\, in a spiritual journey with Floating Points and in an excursion of style and tempo with\nTokyo’s Lil Mofo. South Korean duo Salamanda will be performing live following the release of\ntheir acclaimed third album ‘ashbalkum’ on Human Pitch\, Washington artist Dreamcastmoe will\nbe bringing his slick take on R&B\, funk\, soul and jazz\, and Eglo Records’ Shy One will be \nbringing her high energy eclecticism. \nThe program doesn’t stop at the music; it also features several food stalls satisfying both local\nand international cravings. Attendees will be able to explore a wide palette of flavors while \ndoing the same sonically.
