Calling all foodies and wine lovers! Get ready for an epic night of culinary fusion and funky vibes as Mosto in Berawa, Canggu teams up with Bangkok’s hottest natural wine dive bar, Mod Kaew, for a one-night-only pop-up event on Thursday, March 7th.

This is your chance to experience a unique collaboration between Chef Charlie Fung from Mod Kaew and Chef Lorenzo De Petris of Mosto. They’ve joined forces to create a special menu that promises to be an explosion of flavours, fusing Thai street food classics with a neo-bistro twist and rich Asian-Latin influences.

Imagine sinking your teeth into Taco Chino, featuring braised pork belly in Chinese spices, jicama salsa, and corn tortillas. Or savour the Yum Som-O, a dish of charred pomelo, shrimp, coconut, and chilli crisps. These are just a few of the tantalising snacks that will whet your appetite.

Follow on folks with White Prawns with Nam Jim seafood, marinated wakame, and shallots, before delving into the main course, where you can choose from Cavatelli with water spinach, sambal matah crisp, and manchego, or savour the Grilled Fish with Caribbean coconut curry and Johnnycake (fried coconut bread). To top it all off, a special sweet corn cake awaits you for dessert.

But the culinary journey isn’t the only thing to savour. The event will also feature a selection of magnums and jeroboams of Partida Creus, alongside other rare wines curated by renowned sommeliers Pablo Padilla, Thomas Pho, and Nico Lento.

“This event will be a bomb,” says Lorenzo De Petris, Chef at Mosto. “The guys from Mod Kaew will showcase nine banging dishes, their take on Thai cuisine, plus one pasta dish from me and a special collaborative creation using fresh Balinese ingredients.”
