Ten of the most romantic places to dine in Bali

Year after year Bali is named among the most romantic destinations on earth. With dreamy villas, lingering sunsets, destinations to remember and restaurants to seduce and celebrate, love is in the air and Bali loves a love story. Here are some of our favourite romantic dining spots.

Alila Ubud

Watching the light fade over one of Bali’s most serene and beautiful valleys is what memories are made of. Consistently named among the top ten most romantic places to dine in Bali, the Bale Bengong at Alila Ubud is a luxurious private bale designed for two. Cocooned amongst the lush rainforest, couples dine on a seductive five-course dinner, surrounded by nature and serenaded by the distant ripple of the Ayung River. A separate lounge area provides a relaxing spot to stargaze after dinner.  The resort’s new rainforest villas also offer private spa experiences and in room dining if you just can’t bring yourself to leave.

If something more savoury is required, the Spanish wine garden at the back makes for a fine place to start or finish.
