Located at the end of Double Six Road, opposite the iconic beach, Cocoon Day Club has been a part of the Seminyak scene for over 10 years. It’s back now, after a million-dollar facelift, and it’s brought new life back to one of our favourite beach destinations.
Families flock to enjoy the pool and the dining room with a modern Asian bistro menu that offers a great range of favourites from burgers to sushi, salads and grills. The culinary team have created a menu that begins with an early breakfast, including a coffee bar that opens at 6am.Day Club
The Pool Deck.
The pool terrace has been redesigned as well with sun lounges lining the crystal clear pool and shady booths to enjoy alfresco lunches and a bar for sunset get-togethers. For a reasonable minimum spend, the sparkling blue pool is popular with families and friends.
With two bars inside, there’s space for intimate drinks or to join the crowd at the Sports bar. For big events, including the upcoming Melbourne Cup, the front bar is where all the action takes place. For major sporting events, extra screens are placed around Cocoon to cater for enthusiastic fans. Book the private events space upstairs and bring your own crowd.
A Menu Made To Share.
The stylish dining room offers indoor and outdoor seating on the terrace. The day begins early here and the breakfast menu offers something for everyone from eggs benedict to healthy breakfast bowls and a range of smoothies to accompany the excellent coffee menu.
Family-friendly lunch and dinner menus are made for sharing with mix-and-match Asian tacos, sticky Vietnamese Chicken wings, salty calamari, pizzas and a range of fresh sushi. Mains include pasta like the delicious prawn linguini or spaghetti with meatballs or grilled salmon, steak and peri peri chicken. With a range of sides that also make perfect accompaniments for drinks at the bar, Cocoon has become a popular spot for families, friends and intimate meals.
The Sports bar.
Easily Seminyak’s most upmarket sports bar, Cocoon is home to all the big events with regular football events scheduled regularly. This is the spot to congregate and cheer on your favourite team. With a large upstairs space for big events, you can be sure to grab a chair but make sure you have a booking as the big events often sell out.
For Weddings and Private parties.
The upstairs is a beautiful dining room and bar that can be booked for private events and celebrations. Surrounded by windows that overlook the beach and the pool deck, this is a celebrated event space in Seminyak. A stunning outdoor terrace overlooking the pool deck and the beach beyond is popular with Bali brides for great photo opportunities. The culinary team create tailored food and drinks menus to add to the success of private events held in this light-filled space.
Sunset Sessions.
Playing all your favourite tunes, Cocoon hosts regular DJs to liven up the sunset sessions. Arrive early and grab a table on the terrace to enjoy pre-dinner drinks or wind down after a day by the pool. Indoors and outdoors the bars buzz with conversations, happy hour drinks and popular music selections as the sun goes down and the lights fill the venue for the dinner hours.
