After five years as Naughty Nuri’s the team down in Batu Belig have tweaked the formula to perfection, adding a bunch of new dishes and wild cocktails, and to mark the occasion it’s in with the new name of Hog Wild in Bali. Fear not though, all the important stuff remains the same – fun informal dining at communal tables, with a ramshackle-chic ambience and mouthwatering barbeque smell wafting around like smoky ambrosia.
To mark the dawn of a new era down at the pigpen, Hog Wild in Bali now has a bigger, brighter and even more comfortable dining area. An expanded menu features all the classic favourites, including their famous pork ribs, steaks, barbecue chicken, kebabs and the not-to-be-missed porn corn.
A brand spanking new bar area serves up some of the wildest cocktails you’ll find in town; think Rujak Martinis, or Wild Sugar Martinis twisted with infused chili and served with freshly squeezed sugar cane. If you like kicking it old-school then don’t go past the classic Hog Wild in Bali brutal lychee, gin or vodka martini creations – all served with the “shake, shake, shake dance” from the completely wild waitresses. As if that wasn’t enough, Monday through Thursday there’s a 10% discount on all alcoholic beverages!
More than just wicked pork ribs, the Hog Wild in Bali menu offers a truly gluttonous array of American, Indonesian and Mexican temptations. Crispy nachos or quesadillas are starters made for sharing, while the new beef ribs and shish kebabs are both serious contenders for die-hard meat lovers. Pair ‘em up with hand cut chips, a seemingly bottomless bowl of the Garden Salad, or the killer sweet potato fries and you’ve really got a wild feast on your hands.
