Daily menu specials and free day passes at Reef Beach Club by Apurva Kempinski

A revamped menu and the introduction of a free day pass puts the casual, chic beach club at Apurva Kempinski on our list of favourite day-cations. With an eclectic mix of Western and Asian dishes and a creative approach to beach club classics, from burgers and gourmet sandwiches to delicious salads, the menu highlights a central grill. The Asian dishes are so perfectly put together, they are worthy of a picture. Classics including a delicate laksa, a fragrant oxtail soup, dumplings filled with fresh seafood and spicy tofu dishes. The flavours are true to the originals and an array of spicy sambals and Asian condiments are served alongside. The grill menu continues with a choice of gleaming rotisserie chickens, charred steaks, lamb chops and a stunning selection of fresh seafood from calamari and clams to salmon, prawns and lobster. Located on the beach, with live music on the weekends, Reef offers a deliciously different day out. Daily from 18:00 – 22:00 at Reef Beach Club Due to PPKM restriction. They only open until 20:00 and require advance reservation at least a day prior.

Super Lucky launches the Chinese Roast

Some say everything happens for a reason. When Chef Nicholas Scorpion conceived Super Lucky, it was actually never intended to be the hip and casual Chinese comfort roast that we know today.

If it was up to us to say, this change was a fantastic decision. Nicholas explained to us that he found it challenging to find the true Chinese flavours that he grew up eating with, in Bali.

His passion to cater to those with similar demands has taken him to the outskirts of Bali to source all of his herbs and ingredients directly from the local farms. It's taken time, dedication, and care to create what we know today as Super Lucky. Highly recommended is their authentic Chinese roast.

Avocado Factory

Established in the early stages of Canggu’s boom, Avocado Factory is no stranger to the Canggu community. Although their signature ingredient is the avocado, they base their menu selections around the concept of healthy dining. How does Avocado Factory consistently prevail in the constant change and growth of Canggu? The answers come directly from the minds behind the brand. Andrea Torelli, the head chef of Avocado Factory keeps the concept fresh and new by rolling out new menu specials. This time around, we were invited to try their latest menu featuring 5 unique dishes. [Spoiler Alert] It was so so delicious! We were pleasantly surprised.
